Our Team

Independent Buyers' Co-op (I.B.C.) was founded in 1993 in North Texas.  The management team at I.B.C. has decades of combined convenience store industry experience in ownership, operations, sales management and marketing.  We have 30 employees serving Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi, and Arkansas with our Corporate Headquarters in Arlington, Texas.

Our Passion

I.B.C. understands a simple business principle in the convenience store industry.  C-store owners are overlooked by most suppliers when they have less than 50 stores.  We understand how difficult it is to compete with the large chains which is why we bring you, the C-store owner, the buying power of our 4000+ stores. We have attracted top talent with a variety of backgrounds and most importantly, love what they do for our members and our partners.

The I.B.C. support team is dedicated to improving the success of your business. Our 500+ years of industry experience combined with the relationships we have with suppliers will ensure you are getting competitive pricing and/or rebates for your store. Our team of 30 employees work full-time and are on-call for our members. We also believe in making data-driven decisions and provide our members with charting and analytics tools backed up by decades of convenience store and market data. 


We understand how difficult it can be to run a business which is why we offer first in class account managers and customer service support. From day one, members enjoy access to our fully-staffed corporate office with personnel available to assist via phone and email. I.B.C. works alongside of members to resolve issues quickly and successfully, allowing the member do what they do best - run their business.
